GABA tea is a very special green tea specialty from Japan, considered one of the healthiest types of green tea. Nitrogen is added to the tea during production. The special amino acid GABA was accidentally discovered around 1984 by Japanese researcher Prof. Ssushida while observing nitrogen metabolism in tea. The tea is said to have the following properties: it lowers blood pressure, helps against stress and sleep disorders, with exhaustion, and especially with fat reduction. Many other positive properties are explained and documented in detail in numerous publications.
