Fine black loose-leaf tea from the northern highlands of Rwanda in Central Africa. In contrast to India or Ceylon, this country and growing region still boast exceptionally fertile, mineral-rich soil, and, most importantly, the shade trees so vital for tea bushes. This allows the tea leaves to develop a unique, fruity-zesty aroma. The country of Rwanda, or rather its inhabitants, who have suffered greatly in the past, can use all the help they can get. We are delighted to have discovered this relatively unknown black tea from Rwanda and would be pleased if we could convince you of this high-quality harvest.
