This Assam tea from the Mangalam plantation is plucked only once a year in June and consists of almost 100% pure Tippies. As early as possible, around 7:00 a.m., the delicate buds are hand-picked from the tea bush - only the tip, no open leaves, go into the plucking basket. The withering period of ten hours is sufficient to keep the Tippies supple, after which they are hand-rolled and finally briefly roasted and dried. A specialty for Assam lovers.
