South Korea has a 1200-year-old tea tradition. The highest quality green tea comes from a hilly, fertile region around the city of Beosong in the south of South Korea. Traditionally, this tea is exclusively hand-picked in April and May, then carefully hand-rolled several times according to old recipes, and roasted (fired) in large woks at approx. 200 - 250°C. By rolling the still green tea leaves, the particularly fine Wujan aroma also develops in the infusion. Mild, fine, and delicate. An ideal alternative to Japanese green tea.
