Gyokuro harvesting begins after the first Shincha picking, when the cherry trees are in full bloom at the beginning of May. Only selected areas of a few tea gardens in Kagoshima in Southern Japan have the topographical prerequisites for growing premium tea. To protect them from too much rain and sunlight, the tea bushes are carefully covered with Kabuse nets. Shade teas develop their own subtle aroma and a particularly high proportion of all healthy ingredients. In the cup, a unique aroma with many nuances of taste delights - this is Gyokuro Top Style, as connoisseurs all over the world appreciate it.
