1,000 km off the coast of South America, in the middle of the Pacific Ocean – that's where one of the rarest coffees in the world grows. For many years, we have had a close partnership with Hacienda El Cafetal on San Cristobal, the oldest coffee plantation in the Galapagos Islands. This long-standing relationship allows us to bring this extraordinary coffee to Graz again and again – directly from the producer, without detours.

Grown on fertile volcanic rock at an altitude of 1,200 m, in the middle of a UNESCO nature reserve, a coffee of incomparable purity is produced here: completely free of chemical pesticides, with the typical "Island Coffee" character, otherwise only known from Hawaii or the Caribbean.

Discovering such rarities and making them accessible to our customers – that's what has driven us for over 40 years.
