Especially fine, fresh First Flush from the Namring garden. Early in the morning, Tamil women in the highlands of Darjeeling begin picking the fresh, delicate leaves and tips. A few hours later, the teamaker in the tea factory ensures that the wilting process lasts a maximum of 12 hours, after which the supple leaves are immediately put into the roller. The crucial fermentation process after rolling is decisive for the style of the tea in the cup. Many years of experience on the part of the teamaker are absolutely necessary for the production of particularly fine premium teas – this First Flush is the proof.
